Joanne Wilson is the Children’s Coordinator for WFDA. Driven by a deep passion for community empowerment, she is looking forward to helping and supporting families as they navigate the unique joys and challenges of neurodiversity. As a proud mother raising dyslexic and neurodivergent children, she brings invaluable, lived experience to the team, offering a deeply empathetic and first hand understanding of the advocacy, patience and guidance families need to thrive.
Complementing her personal dedication is a vibrant professional background in media and the creative arts. She looks forward to leveraging her creative expertise to develop engaging resources, champion accessible communication, and build a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone in the community.
