AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

Trustee Katherine Marshall held a very successful fundraising event for WFDA on Saturday 27th April. Hosted in Katherine’s home, there was food, music and a bric-a-brac sale to enjoy. 11 different musicians took part and there was lots of enthusiastic support. With donations given by people who couldn’t come and from St Peter’s Church, Walthamstow’s early Easter Sunday breakfast, plus money taken on the evening the event has currently raised well over £800. A wonderful achievement – so thank you to everyone involved in organising it and contributing on the night.
